The Admiral Buchanan Company holds a Memorial Service at the Point Clear Confederate Rest Cemetery each April. This service includes; dedication of new grave markers as they are added, a memorial to the brave men that are buried there, including speeches, prayers & a 'colors' honor guard. |

There are approx. 473 Confederate Soldiers buried in mass graves at this site. The records were lost in a hotel fire in 1869. Some of the names have been retrieved from other sources. The camp is interested in any further information anyone might have about those interred here. |

The
21st Alabama Infantry re-enactors participates in each
memorial service. They provide a color guard and fire salute volleys during the ceremony. |
